The Excelator program brings entrepreneurs from around the world to familiarize themselves with the Israeli start-up world.

The program participants will meet with distinguished entrepreneurs, investors,

decision-makers and academics. Will acquire entrepreneurial thinking and will receive a toolkit and an opportunity to mingle with the Israeli population and gain an understanding of entrepreneurial DNA in Israel.

The program was first activated in July 2018 with a group of professors and entrepreneurs from Mexico and following the success of the project we decided to expand the project for the coming years.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week in Israel is a cross-sectoral, religions and cultures program that operates in the center and in the periphery.

During one week each November GEW celebrates entrepreneurship all over the country from the north to the south, Tel Hai and Nazareth to Eilat, Kiryat Gat and even the Haredi sector, the Ethiopian community, in Druze and Arab society. During the Global Entrepreneurship Week in 2018 there were 400 events in collaboration with 100 organizations and companies. Over 20 thousand participants met with more than 150 entrepreneurs who told their personal stories and shared their experience in the entrepreneurial activity.

Global Entrepreneurship Network

The project was launched in 2011 in Tel Aviv, and since then has spread throughout the country.

The project has gained a place of honour in the public consciousness and has received great interest from entrepreneurs who wish to lecture, business owners who wish to host the lectures and a young and enthusiastic audience who consistently attend lectures.

The project invites curious young people to meet veteran entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in bars around the country and to talk to them at eye level about entrepreneurial life and entrepreneurial challenges, attracting hundreds of participants each month and more than 1,500 participants during the entrepreneurship week itself.

Entrepreneurship on Tap

Project Roots was initiated by GEN Israel as a local initiative of "Global Entrepreneurship Week" back in 2011. Since then the project developed, and currently deployed in dozens of schools, especially in the social periphery.

The project is based on the work of volunteers, most of them successful, experienced entrepreneurs, and it is carried out in cooperation with entrepreneurship and social oriented bodies active in the social periphery.

The idea is for entrepreneurs to go back to the schools they attended for a face to face meeting, in order to inspire and empower the next generation.

In the meeting the entrepreneurs share about their personal and professional route, lessons learnt from success and failure, and challenges along the way.

Project Roots was established in order to offer role models that will challenge them, and will speak to the hearts and will paint a dream with which they can identify.

The Global Ideas Competition is the world's largest clean technology business competition. It was originated in 2009 by CleanTech Open, a non-profit organization that runs the world’s largest accelerator for CleanTech startups.

This competition is a featured event of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators, who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

The goal is to seek for the best clean technology ideas from around the world - anything from revolutionary ways to generate clean energy to better water filtration of ideas about how governmental policies around climate change can foster new businesses in one of the competition categories.  For entrepreneurs with a great green idea, this is a chance to share it with the world.
