Ronald Weissman

Chairman of the Software Group of the Band of Angels, Silicon Valley’s oldest angel organization. He has been a Band member since 2007.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Angel Capital Association. He has more than twenty years of experience in venture and angel capital. Ron was a Partner and portfolio manager for seventeen years at Apax Partners, a global venture capital firm, where he focused on cross-border investing and enterprise software.

Ron regularly advises financial and corporate venture funds, national and regional governments and G2000 innovation programs about startup ecosystems and venture/angel capital.

Ron invests in enterprise software, IoT, Fintech, analytics and AI solutions and in Health IT. 

Armando Viteri

Armando Viteri has been involved with AI since his university days at MIT. Trained as a symbolic AI programmer, he was involved with the early formation of such companies as Symbolics and Thinking Machines.

More recently Armando has become active in current AI projects as CEO of Neubloc, but also as an active investor and mentor in this space. In addition, Armando heads up the AI Special Interest Group for the Keiretsu Forum – one of the world’s largest sources of early-stage technology company capital.

Prior to Neubloc, Armando was most recently President and CEO of RF Code, Inc., an emerging growth RFID solutions business.

Buke Cuhadar

Buke Cuhadar serves as Vice President of Global Operations for the Global Entrepreneurship Network, a year-round platform of programs and initiatives created by the communities that celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week each November. Aimed at creating one global entrepreneurial ecosystem, GEN helps people in 160 countries unleash their ideas and turn them into promising new ventures. Buke has primary responsibility for coordinating the leaders of national networks in each of those countries while strengthening the collection of organizations that support them. Prior to joining Global Entrepreneurship Network, Buke was the Marcom and Outreach Director at Endeavor Turkey, an affiliate of a global organization to catalyze long-term economic growth by selecting, mentoring and accelerating the best high-impact entrepreneurs around the world.
